Lightweight social bookmarking plugins?

My move to 2.5.1 exposed issues with using the Gregarious social bookmarking plugin. In short, it’s a bandwidth beast.

What social bookmarking plugins are lightweight (meaning less reliance on javascript, fewer MySQL database calls) that would be better choices than Gregarious? Anything that keeps my page load times and bandwidth consumption down would be helpful.
