Lightweight, but Lacking in Some Features

The interface is simple, and while the settings don’t seem too complicated, some parts still feel rather basic.
At the moment, I am using Fluent SMTP, and its best feature is the fallback mechanism — when option one fails, option two can automatically take over. This is one area where I hope Bit SMTP can improve as well.
In addition, it has not been updated for quite some time. I hope that, alongside enhancing other plugins, more attention can be given to further improving Bit SMTP.

You’re absolutely right that Bit SMTP was lightweight and basic in earlier versions. Based on user feedback like yours, we recently released a major update and committed to delivering more frequent improvements moving forward.Here are the new features introduced in Bit SMTP v1.2 (08 Nov 2025):

- ✅ Bulk resend support (resend multiple emails)
We also want to let you know that features like fallback SMTP routing, which you mentioned, are already on our roadmap. Our goal is to make Bit SMTP – Easy WordPress SMTP Solution even more powerful while keeping it lightweight and fast.
