@mattdaddy71 – I believe you have found the two options that are currently available unless you have changed the default setting in NextGEN Gallery under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects … What must the lightbox be applied to? Only apply to NextGEN images
This might be relevant to the issue you are working with.

Thanks for your reply Photocrati,
Ideally when a customer clicks on an image, I’d like them to be able to navigate without the hassle of closing one photo, then clicking on the next photo one at a time.
NGG Settings:
Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects:
What must the lightbox be applied to? Only apply to NextGen images
WooCommerce Settings:
WooCommerce > Settings > General:
Scripts: Enable Lightbox
– When checked, Lightbox produces 2 images
– When unchecked, Lightbox produces 1 image at a time, there is no lightbox navigation
I’ve left the “Enable Lightbox” script unchecked for now.
Any suggestions?
@mattdaddy71 – Re-visiting the link you provided I see there are no images from NextGEN Gallery being displayed … is it possible this is a theme Lightbox effect being used?
– Cais.
Please re-visit this location once again.
I’ve turned off “Enable Lightbox” checkbox from the WooCommerce settings so the “double images” would continue to come up.
The theme I’m using (X Theme) does not have a ‘global’ setting for Lightbox (it encourages you to use shortcode).
The only settings I’ve found for Lightbox are in the ngg settings and WooCommerce settings.
I’m not sure why the ngg settings would affect the WooCommerce module?
@mattdaddy71 – Does this issue persist if you temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme?
– Cais.
@cais, thanks again for your response.
I did as you suggested and tested using the WP Twenty Fourteen theme.
In WooCommerce, the images rendered without duplication, therefore suggesting there’s some kind of setting in the theme I’m using that I’ve overlooked.
Thanks again for your help.
@mattdaddy71 – Glad to do what we can … I hope you are able to get this resolved with your theme. You might consider contacting the theme author for some assistance as well.
Thanks!
– Cais.
