Lightbox vs. Brightcove (Internet Explorer)

Hi, i am having a compatibility problem between the lightbox js 2 plugin and embedding a Brightcove video in a post. Instead of overlaying everything as it should, the lightbox is showing up behind the embedded Brightcove video. This happens only in IE7, in Firefox and Opera things look good. I’ve also tried Slimbox and Greybox but those also cannot stop the Brightcove video from showing on top of everything in IE. If anybody else has had this problem or can think of a solution it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
