    Hey there,

I don’t know since when but your otherwise awesome Lightbox plugin stopped working. The images are displayed via [gallery] and when I last checked opened via Lightbox, currently I am either thrown at the Attachment site or directly at the image, whatever I have setup in the gallery.

I am using several other plugins and a custom theme, but everything worked with those before (doesn’t mean it’s not their fault, since they also got updated).

    Site with a non-working gallery: https://shark5060.net/?p=1972

Plugins: Akismet, Easy Random Quotes, EVE Killboard Plugin, Jetpack, Polylang, Smart Youtube Pro

I’ve checked the requirements and it seems everything is fine.

It would be nice if you could have a look and point me in the right direction.

    Thanks

Hi, it appears that some code in your site’s theme is triggering a JavaScript error. This error stops all other JS code on the page (including SLB’s) from running.

You can confirm that the theme is causing a conflict by temporarily switching to one of WordPress’ default themes and checking whether SLB works again. If there is still an issue, see here for more details on troubleshooting theme and plugin conflicts.

Once the theme’s JS error has been resolved, SLB should be able to function normally. If you are still experiencing an issue, please leave a comment and I would be glad to reopen this ticket and take another look.

You are amazing. Thanks a lot.

There was an error in the “jquery-smooth-scroll-to-anchor.js” and “jquery-smooth-scroll-to-anchor-min.js”. I had to change the a[href*=#] to a[href*=”#”] and Lightbox works again.

Again, thank you so much for your great and VERY fast help.

Awesome, glad to hear your issue was resolved 🙂

You may also want to notify the theme’s developer so that future theme updates don’t cause this error to return.

Yep, that was the first thing I had done =D
