Support » Plugin: WordPress Gallery Plugin - NextGEN Gallery » LightBox Prev/Next with multiple galleries on 1 page

I’ve noticed that if you have multiple galleries on a single page, and you open a picture in lightbox, the Prev/Next navigation runs for all images in all galleries on that page. Is there a way to limit the navigation to just the gallery of which you opened the picture?

eg. I have a page with 3 galleries linked in, I click a pic in the second gallery mid-page (which contains 4 pics), and the nav shows 11/36 instead of 1/4.

@javae – This, unfortunately, is a known issue with the bundled “Lightbox” library that is included with NextGEN Gallery. You will not see this with the other bundled effects (which are included as a convenience).

This is also one of the reasons we have the NextGEN Pro Lightbox included in our NextGEN Pro plugin … feel free to see it showcased at http://nextgen-galley.com/ by clicking on one of the demo gallery images.

    – Cais.
