Lightbox in Safari not working any more

    I’m building a new website using Simple Lightbox. In January it worked fine in Safari on a Mac laptop. Now when I click a photograph nothing happens in Safari 12.0. Sometimes the ‘hand’ icon when hovering over a photograph disappears after clicking on the photograph.
    In Chrome the lightbox still works fine, and also in Safari on an iPhone.
    Last months I updated the plugins I used and updated WordPress to 4.9.10 and added a few plugins, e.g. Math captcha, which to me seem unrelated to lightbox functionality.
    I use theme Flash.
    Any ideas?

    Hi, please provide a link to a page that exhibits the issue you are experiencing and I would be glad to take a closer look.

    Also, note that though a plugin does not seem like it would affect lightbox functionality, it can certainly conflict with other plugin, so you may want to test for plugin conflicts to determine if any other plugins are conflicting with SLB.

    Thank you for your answer. The website is still hidden with Coming Soon, therefore I did not provide a link. I also tested with Coming Soon disabled but the problem persisted. I will give a link when Coming Soon has been lifted. I expect this will be soon.
    In the mean time I discovered:
    1) On another Mac computer with Safari 12.1 the problem doesn’t occur!
    2) My laptop has been updated to Safari 12.1 but the problem persists!

    Please provide a link to a specific page on your site that exhibits the issue you are experiencing and I would be glad to take another look.

    Only a selection of the painters works uses SLB. On this page for instance ‘Still life with guinces and corkscrew’ (quinces!?) and ‘A hommage and a Jacob sheep’ (the ones on top on desktop and mobile respectively).

    Thanks for the updated link. I’ve tested the page in Safari 12.1.1 and SLB appears to function properly, displaying the image links in the lightbox.

    As you’ve also noted that SLB worked in Safari when tested on a different computer, it appears that the issue may be specific to your computer. The issue may be related to a particular browser setting or a plugin.
