lightbox failing after site move

I just moved a site from a subdirectory to the root. Galleries and permalinks are OK but the lightbox functionality with horizontal forward and backward arrows on the images is gone.

I upgraded to see if that would fix it, and it didn’t. I upgraded from the July version to the newest version. I’ve checked all settings and re-saved the settings that were working fine before but can’t get the functionality back.

Is there any alternative to deleting the whole thing and having to start from scratch, re-uploading every single image and caption again?
