Lightbox doesn’t work | WordPress.org

Hi!
I have installed Meow Lightbox together with Meow Gallery, but somehow the lightbox doesn’t work. Only the gallery seems to look okay.

No other plugins are installed, except for Akismet which is deactivated.
It’s installed on a test site: a standard WP install with a standard theme (Twenty Fifteen), see the link.

Hello @bxwebber,

It seems the Lightbox can’t contact the API to retrieve pictures infos ! I will ask Jordy to have a look at it !

Hi @bxwebber,

Please enable the permalinks 🙂 Without them, the WordPress API doesn’t work, and the Lightbox neither since it is actually based on this API. Here is how to do it: https://www.isitwp.com/how-to-set-up-pretty-permalinks-in-wordpress/
