Lightbox doesnt always kick in

    Hi
    I have 6 galleries of about 100 images in each.
    Although there are 100 images in the gallery sometimes when the lightbox comes up it says eg 1/23 or 1/57 . It seems to be a bit random. If I click on the last image in the gallery it tends to come up ok. Also sometimes when I click on an image to start the lightbox i just get the image come up. If I click it a couple more times it will work. Any reason?

    Hi edit,

    It sounds like your page is just taking a moment to load. The lightbox is called on document ready, so the page needs to be pretty much fully loaded for the lightbox to fully function. It could be that the functionality to open the lightbox is being triggered, but that not all the images are fully loaded, so the count isn’t correct. If the lightbox isn’t coming up at all, that means the page isn’t loaded enough for the lightbox to trigger. As long as the page is loaded, the lightbox should always open.

    That being said, it looks like there’s another lightbox in place in the galleries at the URL you provided. It may just be that you are no longer using our plugin. However, if you are still using our plugin, then having another lightbox active would definitely conflict. You could try deactivating the other one to see if ours then works correctly.

    Thanks for your reply.
    I guessed that was probably the case. I couldn’t live with that so I had to deactivate the plugin which was a shame because I really needed the download button.
    Maybe there should be a warning saying Loading… before the light box kicks in?

    It really depends on the load time of each individual page/site, but it’s something we could take a look at. Thank you for the suggestion.
