    Hello Support,
I have set my thumbnail image to 500X500. I also want to set my lightbox image dimension to 500X500 (The lightbox image view are too small).
    How do I achieve this?

    Thanks

    Hi @dcngibson,

    Thanks for contacting me here.

BD only controls the image settings for the images displayed by the plugin. We “integrate” with other lightboxes, which is to say that we add the well known lightbox CSS class to our images so they will display in there, but we don’t control the lightbox itself.

Our “larger” image sizes are controlled under the Images tab, same as the thumbnails. Those are what should be used to display inside of the lightbox, but they don’t control the lightbox itself.

    That help?

Where do I go in your plugin to edit the lightbox CSS class?

    Thanks

    Hi @dcngibson,

Hacking the plugin comes with it’s own risks and complications–like the fact that any changes you make can break other aspects of the plugin and any issues you have need to be tested against an unmodified plugin for support. If you can reproduce on the unmodified plugin, we can fix it. But any updates or changes have to be maintained by you in your custom version. It’s a pretty big hassle.

Perhaps there is a different approach. Are you using a different Lightbox plugin? Or is the theme adding one? There is a setting that allows BD to remove the class we use and let the “new one” take its place. Did you try that yet?

The setting is under the Appearance->Images tab under Directory Admin->Manage Options.
