    if I disable plugin’s lightbox feature (“Enable lightbox on product
   image” option unchecked) the thumbnail link is removed. So it’s impossible to
   use a different lightbox (e.g. Lightbox Color Plus).

 * Hi ndre,
    “Lightbox Plus ColorBox” has many options. I can use different Style
   Types of lightbox, I can set resize values (Maximum Width and Maximum Height),
   speed, transition type, opacity, etc… So I can customize the lightbox and use
   the same effect for all the links and all the images of the site. The “resize”
   function is very important. If I upload a large image as product thumbnail it’s
   not resized with your lightbox.
