Light box vs Featured Content gallary serious issue

Dear folks,

i have a serious issue with those plugins mentioned in the title.

if i remove the light box code (see below) from theme>header.php, the featured content gallery works in home page and in other pages. if i keep the code, then featured gallary not appearing in home page. but appears in other pages.
