    Hello,

I have had seven account registrations this week and none of them appeared to have been passed through CleanTalk. The anti-spam log shows zeroes in the Approved columns for Today, Yesterday, and Week.

I deleted two registrations that are clearly spam, but because they don’t appear in the CleanTalk log, I couldn’t mark them as SPAM, and they have since re-registered. (Also, in the Users list in the backend of the website, I don’t see the option to mark a user as SPAM.)

I ran the CleanTalk scan in the backend today and it correctly identified three SPAM users.

I’m running the LifterLMS plugin on this website and I’m unsure if it is somehow blocking CleanTalk from scanning registrations.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @knittingtheweb,

I’ve tested the LifterLMS plugin from our side and indeed, we do not protect the registration form.

I have forwarded your details to our development team.

We will get back to you with an update within 2-3 business days once we have any results.

    Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for the quick reply, and for pinpointing the problem. It’s a low-traffic site at this point so I’m happy to wait 2-3 business days for your team to follow up.

    Hello @knittingtheweb,

Thank you for your patience and understanding! We’ll keep you updated along the way.

    Best regards,

Thanks for the update. I’ve followed your excellent instructions to install the fixed version. I submitted a test registration with stop_email@example.com and it was blocked by the plugin. I really appreciate the fast response and fix.

I’ve been using Anti-Spam by CleanTalk for years and it has blocked tens of thousands of spam bots on my websites. I already submitted a five-star review but wanted to say here that this is absolutely one of the best WordPress plugins! Thank you!!

Unfortunately, three more spam registrations were approved this morning that don’t appear in the CleanTalk log. They came from email addresses used for accounts I’ve deleted at least twice now, and are attempting to access post-new.php, so I really need to keep them out.

Can I send you the usernames and email addresses privately for you to check?
