    Good morning.

For a client of ours we combine LiferLMS with bbPress. We have made all the settings that we have to make (according to the instruction page). Yet I still see the forum that I am not allowed to see and I can just post messages here. Can you help me with this?

Thanks in advance and have a really nice day.

    Kind regards Ilse

  • Hi @ilse88,

We’re happy to help you with this issue!

The first note is that when you look at any of the pages as an Admin Account you will see the content regardless of permissions. Are you testing this with a student role account and still encountering the issue?

If so, can you provide us with a couple pieces of information that will help us diagnose the issue? The LifterLMS System report: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ is helpful to us, and there’s information here on how you can post it: https://wordpress.org/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay

Additionally, if you can provide us screenshots of the set up you have for bbPress in LifterLMS and the results you’re getting when you set up what should be a restricted page that would be helpful for us as well. You will have to post a link to any images or videos using a service like: Dropbox, Drive, Imgur, CloudUp, YouTube, etc…

Let us know if you have any further information about the set up expectations or have any further questions about this issue!

    Thanks and take care,

    Hi Natalie,

Thank you for your message and apologies for the delay. I view the pages in an incognito window with a different login. So not in my admin account.

Of course I can give you more information. What I noticed by the way. I can no longer link products to memberships. I can set them, save the membership and then the’re gone when I refresh the page.

This seems to be the problem. The normal subscription (on content) also no longer works.

I hope the problem is still somewhat clear?

    Kind regards,
    Ilse

    @ilse88,

I’m sorry for the delay here. I’m having a hard time recreating the bbPress bugs you’re describing. I see that you have LifterLMS WooCommerce installed which means you have access to our email support. Would you please visit your account dashboard on LifterLMS.com and submit a new support request so we can exchange private information and see this firsthand on your site? This will help us resolve this issue much faster without us having to recreate it from your system report (which again I’m not figuring out how to do).

I can no longer link products to memberships. I can set them, save the membership and then the’re gone when I refresh the page.

It’s likely because you’re using the latest version of LifterLMS and a fairly old version of our WooCommerce integration. The APIs for these versions are incompatible. LifterLMS WooCommerce 2.x is required to use the latest version of LifterLMS with LifterLMS WooCommerce. You can upgrade to get this resolved.

This seems to be the problem. The normal subscription (on content) also no longer works.

I’m not sure what you mean here exactly, but I think it’s probably related to the API incompatibilities I’m describing.

All in all, if you’d please open a new support request we can help you get these resolved as quickly as possible. We check the forums a few times a week but we respond to email support daily (usually same day).

    Thanks,
