    Hi Anmari,

For the past 2-3 months I’ve been working on a site hosted on a production server with (mysite.info) as the domain. Everything was working and we were ready to move it to the live server (mysite.com). Unfortunately when we moved it the advanced features of amr Users Plus stopped working and after a few hours of troubleshooting we realized it might be because of the licensing with the plugin.

Now that we’re on the live site, is there a way to switch the licensing from the .info domain to the .com domain?

    Jimario,

There is currently no licensing control in any of my plugins at all.

When you ‘moved it’ – did you move / copy all the options ?

Is the ‘plus’ plugin actually active?
Have you visited the settings screens and verified that the settingsrae as they should be and resaved them?

When you say that the plus ‘stopped working’ – what exactly is not working – is the filter html not showing ?

Sometimes when people are using an ‘add-on’ they forget and forget to copy over the add-on too.

    Anmari,

The basic plugin and the plus plugin are both active. But I noticed that my user lists that I had created (surrogates, donors, parents) have disappeared and only two lists called “users: details” and “users:Directory” remains. However, when I visit my search pages, the filter list of users shows up correctly for all three of my search lists but only one of the search lists has the proper filter layout “above” whereas the other two has the filters “in table”.

When I try to re-import the file containing my user lists that I had exported in early April, I get the error “Invalid data in settings file”

    Hi,

those are the default lists. If you reset the settings OR copied over the plugins and activated them without copying over the saved options at same time then that is what you would see.

Quickest solution for you may be to manually recreate the lists.
Run “Find fields”, add the fields to the lists, click the tickbox for filter ‘above’ instead of ‘in table’ etc. If you have two windows up and the same/similar data, it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes.

Testing locally on export/import of user list settings works for me. Send me your exported user list and I’ll see if I can recreate that message when I load into my test system.

    Thanks Anmari,

I sent as an attachment to you via email.

Also, if my lists no longer exist, how is it that my search/filter pages still display the appropriate filters, headers, and users according to exactly how I configured the list?

    Hi jimario,
see reply email – somehow your export settings .txt file had a date string as first characters. Delete the date string and txt file imports. Any idea where that date string may have come from ? (Not from this plugin)

re why front end stays – if you copied over all the wordpress options then you probably had the transients copied too – ie the html cache version, so would show that until the transients expired.

If you rebuild the cache it should look same as whatever is in the backend.
