License won’t activate/plugin won’t update

Trying to update to plugin vs. 4.9(?) and was getting an error message saying I wasn’t authorised. I researched this and found the Yoast article saying to deactivate and then re-activate the license key.

I deactivated the license key and when I tried to re-activate it I got another error message saying I had reached my installation limit.

I only have one website, I don’t have it installed anywhere else.

Right now the plugin is not active or updated. Could someone please help me understand why I am getting these error messages?
