# License Doesnt Activate

 * I have installed the new version of Visual Products Configurator on our staging
   server. I then added the license key and activated the license and received a
   message that the license was successfully activated. However, when I go to the
   actual front-end web page I continue to get the following error. “You have not
   activated your license yet. Please, activate it in order to use this plugin.”
 * I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, creating a whole new staging
   site and retried again, but nothing works.
 * I contacted the plugin developer multiple times but get very basic instructions
   like try pasting your license key again and saving. That’s def not the issue,
   and WP already says the activation was successful???
 * Can I get some real help here? This is sucking up a lot of our time unnecessarily.

   site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.
 * As the author is aware, commercial products are [not supported in these forums](https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/#do-not-post-about-commercial-products).
   I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
