In my list of installed plugins this plugin shows a link for License. When I click that it says “Error loading license.” What license is this referring to?

I connected the plugin to Constant Contact account and it says “Plugin connected to Constant Contact.”

It’s a link that may need some extra QA on, but all it does is load the license.txt file contents that should be included with the plugin.

You seeing that error message simply means it wasn’t able to find and read the contents, so it returned that message instead.
