 * Hi
 * I agree with some others that it is a shitty move to change that much (one of
   the more expensive plugins i know), BUT since you chose to make this move, i
   am forced to pay a licence fee. Why do I think it is a shitty move is that you
   have had hundreds of peope who have helped you in developing the plugin with
   hints, troubleshooting and others and now you decide it is good enough to exploit.
   Even if you think it is worth it.. Pathetic.
 * However since I run a swedish company sales tax is to be deducted for your sales
   price. We pay tax in Sweden, not the Netherlands.
 * Regards
    Joakim

 * Hi Joakim,
 * Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.
 * We believe our plugin, the support and the extra features are well worth the
   license fee. Besides the main and most important features remain free and as
   a result our free plugin is still, by far, the best one out there.
 * We have been communicating that some of the features eventually would become
   part of the Elite version of the plugin for over half a year already also from
   within the plugin itself. So when you decided to use them, as they are useful,
   you were notificated of this. We also gave a heads-up of over a month and offer
   a voucher-code for the users who want to switch to the Elite version.
 * You are right that we got lots of suggestions for improvements from our users
   and have taken action upon those to make the plugin even better. That is what
   companies should do: listen to their users and improve their products. That however
   does not mean they should continue to provide their product from free (wouldn’t
   be much of a company). Loads of time has gone into developing the plugin AND
   providing users with free help with their marketing campaigns. 22 months to be
   exactly. The time has come now to charge a fee for some of the features. Bear
   in mind, most of the features remain free.
 * Now with regards to Swedish tax. You are mistaken. When you sell software to
   other countries within the European Union (Sweden is in) you are requested to
   gather taxes and pay those taxes in the country you are based. Local tax-government
   will take care of balancing that our within the countries.
 * We could discuss this topic further by email if you like. Just like the voucher-
   code.
 * All the best,
    Eva

 * You are incorrect that the most important things are still free, which you are
   well aware of. Without GTIN the plugin is unfortunatly nothing to have.
 * So your plugin is not 79 Euro then, it is 79 euro plus tax? Iow it is almost
   100 euros per year.
 * Nah, not interested in discusing this further, just letting you know that probably
   several people feel cheated that have helped just since it was free. Had they
   known that as soon as you got a chance you would set a ridiculous fee i am quit
   sure the help wouldnt have been so extensive.
 * Your plugin is now even more expensive then the highest ranked plugin for this(
   [https://www.wpmarketingrobot.com/](https://www.wpmarketingrobot.com/)) so it
   makes no sense at all.
 * I guess i will pay for one year and asap change to a cheaper, higher ranked procuct.
   Sad really.

 * Joakim,
 * It takes about 1 minute to create your own GTIN attribute in WooCommerce which
   you can than use in our plugin, for free 😉 So, it should not be such a big deal.
 * Filtering, rules, unlimited amount of products and feeds, multiple plugin supports,
   close to 200 templates for other channels, and so on and so on. Really, most
   of it remains free.
 * Besides you could have also approached us by email with your concerns before
   putting it on the forum. You might have found we are actually quite reasonable,
   especially to people who helped us making the plugin better.
 * Anyhow, we hope you will remain a much appreciated user of our plugin and in
   case you decide to move on than we wish you all the best.

 * And still you know your plugin is almost useless without the GTIN.. Weird reasoning
   on your part i think. But thats up to you.
 * Most remains free, BUT to use it really, you need Elite because the choices you
   made to exclude for instance GTIN from free version is because you want more
   sales and you know you basicly need it.
 * If it is so simple to make, why put it in the paid version?
 * >Besides you could have also approached us by email with your concerns before
   putting it on the forum.
    Yes I could have called aswell, send a bottle post
   and threw is in the ocean, made smoke signlaas too, but in this case I thought
   it was better that it was public. Anyhow, this makes me curious, so what would
   you have reasoned via email then? If you are reasonable you would see it makes
   no sence in putting a plugin that costs almost 100 euros each year on the market,
   since you, unfortunatly, will force people to change plugin.
 * Anyways, too bad you went this route. Good luck.

 * Clearly this discussion is not going anywhere. Pity but sometimes thats just
   the way it is.
 * Wishing you all the best,

 * I agree, not that I knew it was going to lead somewhere since you made your mind
   up.
