Leverage browser caching

    When I run Google speed check, I get this

    Leverage browser caching Setting an expiry date or a maximum age in the HTTP headers for static resources instructs the browser to load previously downloaded resources from local disk rather than over the network. Leverage browser caching for the following cacheable resources:
    http://davidsgifts.co.uk/…al-icons/icon-sets/png/set1/facebook.png (expiration not specified)

    I’m just showing one, but there is a lot of them. Can anyone explain in step by step detail, and plain English, how I fix this on my word press site. Is there a plug-in to fix this. Working on improving the SEO of my site.
