# Let users set role

 * Hi,
 * Ive been searching for this particular function for a while, but havent succeeded
   in finding it. For a certain project, I want the users to set their own role 
   of choice. E.g. default role is Subscriber, but after login they can set their
   role to Author via a widget.
 * Ive been in search for a plugin that can arrange this. But Im in no luck. I tried
   with Role Scope to set certain capabilities, but i didnt succeeded.
 * If anyone has any experience with this or a solution, im glad to hear it.
