Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Let down by poor customer service, vague documentation & broken plugins

I’ve just spent 4 months working on a subscription site that involved a considerable amount of customisation of WooCommerce’s core functionality. While I was impressed with WooCommerce itself, the platform is let down by some of the third-party plugins which it sells on its site and the customer service when things go wrong.

I experienced problems with Shipping Multiple Addresses, Subscriptions, Product Add-ons and the Stripe payment gateway plugin. While most of these problems were fixed within about 7 days, some issues went unresolved for weeks. Despite telling customer service reps that I’m an experienced WordPress/PHP developer and, even after fixing a couple of bugs for them, their responses were often robotic and they continued to write to me as if I was a complete novice!
