Support » Plugin: LearnPress - WordPress LMS Plugin » Lessons will not load

  • I installed LearnPress on our testing website to see if the plugin is what we’ve been looking for. And yes, LearnPress seems to be perfect for us… except for this one little thing.

    Lessons won’t load. *frown*

When I click on a lesson it starts loading, but never finishes. I use the Foreverwood theme. I tried a few different themes and the lessons seem to load just fine with Twenty Thirteen or Clean Journal for example. Apparently there is some theme incompatibility. What about the Foreverwood theme could be the problem? Is there anything I can do (custom css?)? I would love for this plugin to work with Foreverwood because the website I intend to use LearnPress is built with it.

    Hello Lee,

Thanks, but I already switched to another plugin. I just ran into too many issues with this one, sorry!

Hello I have the same problem. Could you help me?
I really want to use Learnpress, but it’s not working for me so far.

Still not working, aber deactivating all the plugins πŸ™ Does nobody have an answer for this?

Learnpress is exactly what I want, but it’s just not working

    Hello ThimPress team!
I just bought the “Eduma” theme but the LearnPress plugin’s not working well!
I had already edited the theme but I needed to reinstall to see if it fixed but still did not working. Is the same problem, what can i do?!

    Hi guys,

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of LearnPress.

If you guys still get the issue – cannot load the pop-up lessons, it’s most likely due to a JS conflict in your current system. So please follow this guide to find out what exactly the issue

Then let us know, we will find the best solution for your site.

@pedrogueirone, if you bought Eduma Premium theme, please join our support forum, we will need some private information from your site to check.

I have followed your method and found that issue over the console in the Chrome developer tools. The issue happend because the Megamenu from cmsmasters was active. After disabling it, the LearnPress plugin worked right, unfortunately, we need the Megamenu, because the functions and button color change are only possible to make if the mega menu plugin is active. Can you get in contact with them and check whether it can be fixed?

On my part, the conflicting plugin is the Divi/Extra Layout Injector.

I have the same problems. It’s not the JS, ik tried different browsers and laptops.
Is a simple solution already possible?

Same problem here. No JS conflicts.

Simply a continuing loop while trying to load the lesson and nothing!

EDIT: In my case I found the culprit! WPML String Translation is to blame… reason? I have no idea, but I need this on my website to have it fully translated! πŸ™

    Hi djdrumn,

So there is a conflict with WPML plugin.

If it’s a JS issue, I strongly recommend you to ask the author (WPML).

I can help too, if you share the site URL, I can take a look, try to find a solution for you.

    Hi Ken,

This isn’t a JS conflict, this is some other conflict between WPML String Translation and this plugin, because if I deactivate that one, this one starts working without problems.

As far as I could see, this is an old problem because people already complained about this, but the solution given by WPML was to remove the strings related to this, so I did that and even so, it’s still not working so now I don’t know what to do because I need this plugin working due to translations I can only get with this specific plugin, but I also need your plugin…

    I’m stuck! πŸ™

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards,
    Pedro Lima
