When I enter < and > in comments on my blog, it’s no problem. When most other readers enter them, it assumes it’s an html tag and doesn’t show what’s in between the two signs.
Either way seems reasonable, but I can’t figure out why it works differently for different people. You can see some examples here

The vb tags in the examples are from iGSyntax Hiliter. If anyone can shed some light on this, I’d appreciate it.
