    how can i establish the excerpt length in the cpt list?

 * Thanks for the reply, so when I create my cpt I have to do two actions: compile
   the content and compile the summary with a few words. Isn’t there an automatic
   way to display a fixed number of words?

 * So presuming you are using the ‘text editor’, you would pick the ‘dynamic tags’
   option, and select ‘Post Summary’. Click in the Post Summary field, and then 
   a box will appear where you can select the number of ‘words’.

    I used post content and not the text editor.
