    Hello guys,

I really loved your plugin however, I needed to delete it. The problem is, users still receive the welcome email with your plugin when they register an account even if I already deleted it. can you tell me what is the database table responsible for this so that I can delete it?

  • Hi,

Are you saying that the user received a registration welcome email after deleting his account and registering again? If you delete the account and register again with the same email then it will obviously receive the welcome email as the user is registered as a new user. If you can explain your issue with an example or screenshot would help us to assist you further. Don’t make changes in the Database unless you know what you are doing.

To uninstall the plugin, You will need to enable setting from UsersWP->Uninstall->
Remove Data on Uninstall? and then deactivate and delete the plugin. For your information, WordPress also sends a welcome email after registration. Check here https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_new_user_notification/#comments

What I meant was I already deleted this plugin but still receive the welcome email that is generated by this plugin specifically. I was creating accounts to test the register function. I know that there’s email verification but I don’t understand why it comes from this plugin when it is already deleted. You answered it on your 2nd answer to “Remove Data on Uninstall”

    Hi,

If you can provide the email sent even after deactivating or deleting the plugin would help us troubleshoot the issue. Ideally, our functionality should not work if the plugin is deactivated or deleted.

    Regards,
    Patrik
