 * Hi All,
 * I’m not new to web design, but I’m new to WordPress and PHP. I just had a website
   design done for my business([http://www.clickright.ca](http://www.clickright.ca))
   I can modify the pages no problem, but I’m having trouble with the right widgets(
   at least I think they are widgets!)
 * After really looking around, I found out that I could edit them on the Themes
   > Editor page. They are listed under Templates with file names “Page-##.php” (
   which is not very descriptive.)
 * Can someone please explain to me how I can chose what is displayed in each of
   these widgets, and how I can modify the name to something other than “page-##
   so I can actually tell what page they are from?
 * Thanks!

 * if they are widgets in the right sidebar (as you should assume with a newly made
   theme) then you should be able to find them under ‘admin’ ‘appearance’ ‘widgets’.

   if not – you might need to edit the file for the right sidebar – could be sidebar.
   php.
 * i would not assume that the page-##.php files have anything to do with it.

 * Thanks alchymyth.
 * The only widget I see under Admin > Appearance > Widgets is the Testimonials
   Widget. As there appears to be different widgets for each page, I don’t know
   how come it’s only listing the one.
 * The page-##.php files contain the content for the right sidebar for all of the
   pages. When I edit these on the FTP server, I can make the changes I need, but
   I never know what file is the right one until I search thorough then (because
   of the name)
 * Is there any way to fix this or rename the page-##.php files?

 * if you go into the dashboard/admin – pages – edit page: then you should be able
   to see the template that is used for the page where you want to change the widgets–
   somewhere to the right a bit lower (if you haven’t re-arranged your dashboard)

 * Hmm, that option is here, but it says “Default Template” for every page. The
   more I look into this, the more confused I get.
