 * Hey blokhut,
 * If you want to activate left sidepanel,
    first of all go inside your page. Under
   Page Attributes you can select a template named left sidebar Page. Then save
   and update your page. You can select the widgets from appearance>>widgets>>.
   Drag and drop the widget/s to your Page/blog left sidebar.
 * Hope this is what you are looking for.
    Thanks!

 * I wish it was that easy. I have actived it but it doesn’t work.
    All my pages
   are static pages. It says Blog page with left sidebar. Could that be the reason
   why it doesn’t work?

 * I deleted all my widgets and only made 1 for the left sidebar. Activated the
   Blog with left sidepanel but nothing changes.
    Even without any sidebars my text
   doesn’t change. I expected my text to be on full width but it isn’t.

 * Hi,
 * If you wish to activate left sidebar on your entire blog page ,you can go inside**
   appearance>>customize>>Basic Settings>>Blog Layout** and then select the option**
   Blog with left side bar**.
    However the theme does not have any feature regarding
   left side-bar in a particular post.You have to customize the child theme yourself.
 * Thanks,
    Rohan
