 * In the Left and Right Sidebar with Blog you suggest that’s not possible. No worries.
 * But.
 * I’d like to have a consistent left sidebar for a blog – it’s not showing up.
   There is no “page attributes” for the layout (as you kindly pointed out to me
   last month) for a post, so – how do I get a left sidebar to appear on a post?
 * Thanks.

 * Easily done…
 * Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Basic Settings
 * Look for “Standard Left Sidebar” and select that one. Click Save & Publish.
 * For widgets, you will now need to put your widgets into the “Blog Left Sidebar”
   position.

 * Just a quick follow up… also set the “Single Layout” as “Single Left Sidebar”
   under Basic Settings too.

 * Perfect. Thanks. (Way too many places for us to update stuff…but it’s all good!
   It worked perfectly).

 * Good to hear 🙂
    As for way too many place to update stuff, I like to give a
   lot of flecible options, but also try not to create too many that it becomes
   overwhelming if at all possible.
 * It’s always great to get feedback from end-users either from support or theme
   reviews…it helps make changes that improves on the theme but also new themes.

 * I didn’t mean to imply this was a defect – it was meant to reveal how many different
   places I have to keep in mind when I’m considering additions to the site. Especially
   when I don’t work on it more than a few times a month.

 * No worries, I didn’t take it as a defect 🙂
    Feedback, either good or bad is
   always welcome.
