Hi I feel like I’m so close to having my blog page to where I want it to be. Mind you I’m new to this stuff, so coding language is something I don’t understand.
Issue: Not being able to leave comments on posts. Also known as the Leave a Reply link after a post has been submitted.
The way my page is set up in the dashboard under SETTINGS > READING > Front page displays has the A static page radio button is selected. The Front Page drop down arrow is at default (nothing selected) and the Posts Page drop down arrow is pointing to a page I created called Zlogs.
The reason for the above settings is so any default posts made by me or by an Author will be Displayed on the Main page AKA the HOME and when you’re on the HOME page if you click on the title of the post it will redirect you to the Zlogs page which will also display the same content from the MAIN/HOME page.
I don’t know if this is how I should set it up but I currently do like and want to keep it this way.
So back to my original issue, When a user attempts to click on the Leave a Reply link, it doesn’t redirect or display the form to enter a name and email so a comment can be made.. However, when I disable Front Page Displays and select the Your Latest Post radio button, the ability to Leave a Reply works!
So again.. My problem is, I like how my page is currently but do not have the ability to utilize the Leave a Reply function.
