LearnPress Content Drip

We are using LearnPress with Eduma Theme for our LMS and have couple of questions:

– We have courses where content is dripped, i.e. the student should only be able to open the next lesson after a certain amount of time spent on the prerequisite lesson. We tried setting up the content drip as follows:
o Gave adequate time for the Lesson duration under Lesson
o Set up content drip as “open item basis after prerequisite item”
o Then under settings, have first lesson open immediately, and following lessons open after prerequisite (previous lesson) after specified time
– So, once the student enrolls into a course, they cannot skip lessons but they can navigate lesson by lesson sequentially but without any time limit, i.e. they can just open click “complete” and move forward. We want to disable this

We found the following chat with you on wordpress.org that looks at the same issue. Is this the most current workaround or can you please recommend another way of doing what we are trying to achieve?

What we really need is:
– open first lesson immediately
– second and subsequent lessons open a certain time after the lesson is opened, not time from enrollment
