Learning More: Installing WordPress

You have 2 choices:

1. Use phpmyadmin, go to the database and drop the existing tables.
OR
2. open the file ‘wp-config.php’ and find the line:
$table_prefix = 'wp_'; // example: 'wp_' or 'b2' or 'mylogin_'

Change that to:
$table_prefix = 'theblog_'; // example: 'wp_' or 'b2' or 'mylogin_'
save and reupload.

Either way is fine 🙂

Keep wp-config.php
delete everything else
Unzip another wp download, but this time make it keep the folder / directory structure.
You should end up with 4 folders and a bunch of files.
Uplad them just like that and things should be better.
