League Tables – Team Name – Change in SP 2.6.x

The Team name used in the League Tables was the Abbreviation. Since the updated Sportspress 2.6.X the team name is used instead. How do I revert to using the Abbreviation in the League Table?

Can you clarify when the team name is used, when the short name is used, and when the abbreviation is used?

@pcvcadmin The abbreviation has been split into 2 different types: Short Name and Abbreviation. Since version 2.6, Abbreviations will be used where an icon is not available, for example the new Next Team feature.
As a side effect, league tables will now use the Short Name instead, so I would updating each team by pasting the Abbreviation value into the Short Name field.
In general, the full team name is used when the team is viewed directly (their profile page) and the short name is used in most widgets. The exception being when the name is in place of an icon (team logo) where abbreviations are used if available.
