 * For those using the [WPMU LDAP plugin](http://wpmuldap.tuxdocs.net/), a colleague
   of mine has produced a complementary plugin that allows to assign roles based
   on LDAP groups.
 * The code will be uploaded as a wordpress plugin once approved at [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ldap-roles/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ldap-roles/)
