 * Am having issues with the pages where I change images from the default (printify
mock up default images) to custom mock-ups larger but no larger than 2000 pixels
the pace slows down significantly. And google console shows:
 * “The resource <URL> was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few
seconds from the window’s load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate `
as` value and it is preloaded intentionally.” and 33 lazyload issues related.
Not sure how to fix this, I am new at WordPress and all that it entails. other
products (not customized ones) work perfectly fine.

 * larger images = larger size = more loading time , this is physical law
 * LSCWP has removed HTTP2 push/preload long time ago , something else preloaded
these resources and triggered that message

 * No, it is still available and will be supported as browsers will support it.
FF and Chrome still have it and I use it together with ls_smartpush (LSWS) cookie.
 * In current case I think the answer is simple. Theme preloads sources (fonts,
css) that are either not used, not needed or loading of the page takes too much
   time.

 * the ls_smartpush cookie is from server side thing
 * but LSCWP itself doesn’t send push header anymore
 * and the OP’s preload was coming from HTML source code , not from header

 * Okay, this was a missunderstanding. You said support for server PUSH had been
canceled by LSCWP and I understand you mean server side support for it, so sorry!
