    Thanks for a great plugin.

    a) We are trying to not lazy-load above the fold images.

We are finding lazy loading still happening despite adding “skip-lazy” to exclusions.
Elementor or SG removes the class and places it on the container.

Also, the image I don’t want lazy loaded now has a class “lazyloaded”.

    b) if the classes and class names are changed/removed on the image, will that impact SEO?

Here is where we support the SG Optimizer code and related issues. The SG support team will not be able to assist you.

The issue is caused by the Elementor plugin adding classes to the parent element of the image you want to exclude from Lazy Load and not the image itself. That’s why it’s not skipped. Please, contact the Elementor team to get additional assistance on that matter. There isn’t anything we can do about this. The SG Optimizer works as expected.

You are right! It is a result of the way they do things.
I’ve managed to discover a solution.
For the few images above the fold I want to avoid Lazy loading… I just add a HTML block/element in and then define the IMG with the needed “skip-lazy” class there.
    Works like a charm!

Works with HTML, or Text-editor class and insert an image from media files.

    Thank you @hristo-sg Hristo.
