    I hope you are doing good today.

    At this point from what we know this format is not fully “supported”.
    By that I mean this:

    You can do this by entering about:config in the URL bar, searching image.avif.enabled, and flipping this parameter to true.

    So this forces, end-users to manipulate settings in the browser. I doubt how many of them will do this or will be convinced to change anything in browser settings.

    However, our developers are already aware of this and this feature is on our radar already.
