P.S. when I load a page with comments there is 1 out of the ordinary thing I notice, which is…
At first the scrollbar is relatively large, which indicates that the comments haven’t loaded yet, but as soon as the page has almost fully loaded the scrollbar becomes small which indicates that the comments have loaded.
This is all before I scrolled even 1 millimeter.
I compared the above scrollbar behavior with the scrollbar behavior when lazy load is disabled. And when it’s disabled the scrollbar is always small…
So lazy load does seem to be happening when it’s enabled, but it’s prematurely triggered by something other then “scroll”.
Any clue as to what the problem might be? And any change you fix this by using a more reliable way to detect scrolling?
Hello? Echo? Guess I’ll be moving on…
Hey @janpaul999,
Sorry for the delay. Could you please list the active plugins?
Sure no problem, here: http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2311422/62e3a34cb29092ef2ddbb3188102b7c6
It’s when I switch to a default WP theme that your plugin works again though, with all those plugins still enabled. So the issue is more likely the theme than any plugin I’m guessing.

Yes. It should be theme conflict. Anyway, can you check after deactivating Q3W3 Fixed Widget and then A3 Lazy Load please? Don’t forget to clear the cache then.

Ok I just tested that, but after deactivating both the lazy load on scroll still doesn’t work. I did clear the cache.
P.S. mythemeshop also has free themes here: https://mythemeshop.com/theme-category/free-wordpress-themes/
And all their themes are built on the same basic system, so it’s likely that you can use one of those free themes to test and see where the conflict with your plugin is.
Ok. Just wanted to confirm it is not a conflict with Fixed Widget (there were issues before).
Have you tested with other free themes from MyThemesShop? Same issue there?
No haven’t tested with them. I just suspect that there may be the same issue there because their themes are all built on the same system. They just look different on the frontend, but for most if not all of the fundamental tech is the same.
Thanks. I will test with their theme. If you could help finding a conflicting theme, it will be great too π
Sorry, I’m currently in the middle of something. But in case their free themes don’t conflict I can give you temp admin access later on, so you can debug it live on my site.
Hi,
Were you able to test other free themes? I will be only able to test this next week. If you could help, I can debug this quickly.
I just tested the SociallyViral Free theme: https://mythemeshop.com/themes/sociallyviral-free/
It has the exact same issue, so you can test and debug with that.
Thank you @janpaul999. I will work this soon.
