    Hi there,
We are just trying out the free version after seeing your plugin featured on Elegant Themes Blog.

Can I ask a few questions ref the page URL given?

The URL, why is this so long? Can this be edited down to just the property name – N033 Holiday Cottage?

See the fullwidth gallery at the top, is there a way of making this show more images at once? We don’t get wide images for properties so could do with this showing 2 images at once, similar to our other site which shows three here:
    https://www.fabulouscornwall.co.uk/portfolio/ros-vale-st-buryan/

The layout, we’ve seen a layout where the gallery image isn’t full width, with content to the right of the image. How do we change the Properties Page layout?

Also, scroll down and see AT A GLANCE. To make this HTML work we need to asign this a CSS Class, can we do this with your system?

As said, if we can get the basics working on the free version, we may go Pro for additional features.

    Many thanks, Pete

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

1- The URL can be configured. Please check this KB article: https://support.realtyna.com/index.php?/Default/Knowledgebase/Article/View/668/

2- There is another layout in WPL PRO that you can use. Please check it here: https://wpl28.realtyna.com/theme28/properties/1-Loft-7707-S-43rd-Pl-Arizona-85042-2-Bedrooms-3-Bathrooms-USD46-741/ You can enable this layout by getting help from this guide: https://support.realtyna.com/index.php?/Default/Knowledgebase/Article/View/725/

3- Regarding “At a Glance” section, you can apply styles using the existing classes but if you like to change the classes, you should override the activity layout in your child theme and modify the content. Almost everything in WPL is customize-able but it needs basic knowledge about HTML / PHP and WordPress.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

    Ok see here:
    http://fabulouspropertycompany.com/properties/1-Portfolio-Thornham-Norfolk/

I need to change the URL to:
    https://www.fabulousnorfolk.co.uk/portfolio/no33-cottage-2-thornham/

Now I can’t see how to do this. I can see in Settings > SEO > Main Permalink.
How do I add to this dropdown to include – Portfolio ?

I then need to have just…/no33-cottage-2-thornham/
The Listing name and the location.

I need to match this because if we were to use your system, it would need to replace all our current listings however we would need to maintain all the URL’s which have this configuration…
    https://www.fabulousnorfolk.co.uk/portfolio/no33-cottage-2-thornham/

    Many thanks, Pete

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

Changing “properties” to “portfolio” is simple. “properties” is a WordPress page that you can find in WordPress -> Pages menu. You can change the slug (and / or title) to “portfolio” using edit page option of WordPress.

For the rest of URL, you should put [field_313][glue][location3_name] pattern into the WPL->Settings->SEO->SEO Patterns->Listing Link Permalink.

I assume that “County” is third level of location in your website. if it is 2nd or 4th you should insert [location2_name] or [location4_name]. Also you should remove the WPL cache from WPL->Settings->Maintenance section after modifying the patterns.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Hi there,

Many, many thanks for your prompt support, really appreciated.

There are a ‘ton’ of things we need to make sure will work for us using your system, many I hope we can investigate and sort ourselves however I may come back to you while we try to run through things to check all will work as we need.

As mentioned, we are interested in your pro version with all the functions, however we have a number of established sites your system would need to work with, we can’t go breaking URLs and stuff 🙂

    Final question for now 🙂
We like to manually input the SEO for each property, I’m guessing this is an option for Pro users?
I can see the option, we just can’t use this yet.

    Many thanks as always, Pete

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

You can insert property title, property page title, property description, meta keyboards and meta descriptions for each property manually but property URL comes from the pattern that you specify and it cannot be manually changed.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Hi there,

    Thanks ref your advice.

    Can I ask ref URLs:

You advised on the above, we now have this URL
    http://fabulouspropertycompany.com/portfolio/1-No33-Cottage-2-Thornham/

However where is the number 1 coming from?

We need it to just be:
    http://fabulouspropertycompany.com/portfolio/No33-Cottage-2-Thornham/

This will replace this listing here:
    https://www.fabulousnorfolk.co.uk/portfolio/no33-cottage-2-thornham/

We have to get the URL stricture right otherwise should we use your system, we’ll break over 200 existing property listings.

    Thanks, Pete

    Hi,

That number is technical ID of the property and it’s required and cannot be removed. You can 301 redirect the previous URLs to new URLs using a redirection plugin if that works for you.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Hi there,

That’s a great shame. We can’t create 301 redirects for over 200 properties, it will be a huge job to change what we already have in the first instance, we can’t mess with a URL structure that is over 6 years old with hundreds of links using long established links.

I guess we are better to find this out now, rather than later. Thank you 🙂

    Hi again,

If we were to consider using a redirect plugin, how would this work?
Unlike when we use Yoast SEO on a custom post type or page, where each individual post or page has the Yoast options, your property listings are part of your system.

How would we redirect a URL to correct the issue we face?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

You should 301 redirect the previous URL http://fabulouspropertycompany.com/portfolio/No33-Cottage-2-Thornham/ to the new URL http://fabulouspropertycompany.com/portfolio/1-No33-Cottage-2-Thornham/.
