    Installed Independent Publisher today. It’s beautiful and looks marvelous on my 17-inch Mac (Chrome).

    On the iPad and on a few other random computer screens, the sidebar is disappearing and the navigation menu and header image are moving to the type of the home page.

    I’ve tried a few angles but nothing’s worked. I have no real coding ability, sorry to say.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I just talked to someone with more experience and he says the issue is probably that the theme is randomly switching between a single-column and double-column layout.

    I haven’t enabled the single-column layout, so don’t know why that would be happening.

    It seems the issue is browser width. When the browser reaches a certain width, the theme loses proportionality. Is this something that can be resolved?

    Hi,

    That’s a feature, not a bug. The theme is responsive. It’s designed to be readable on all screen sizes. For example, on a phone, a sidebar wouldn’t make sense (the screen is too small). So the theme resizes with the browser. When the screen is less than 1200px wide, the sidebar moves to the bottom and the nav bar moves to the top.
