Please can you post a link to your site where I can see the issue and try to advise better? Thanks.

Oh also keep in mind that the plugin works by copying it’s template and css into your theme upon activation. The idea is that you can then completely customise it from there, and your customisations will not be overwritten when the plugin updates. Much the same as other complex multi-page plugins like EDD or WooCommerce for example.

It sounds like maybe you handled your customisation in a different way? Did you style the templates in the plugin directory rather than in your theme?

Received. Will continue working on this privately and update this thread when a solution is found.

PS. If you ever need to roll back a plugin, you can always find the previous versions by going to the “developers” tab on the plugin page.
    Eg. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-knowledgebase/developers/

Update to 1.0.5 to fix Child Theme and template issues.

    Hello Meave,

    I just upgraded from 1.0.4 to 1.0.5.
In 1.0.4 I got the two columns of the knowledge base.
But in 1.0.5 is went back to one column.

Not all CSS is lost, but the specific KnowledgeBase markup seems to be gone.

But your message above says that you fixed the template issues.

Can you point me in the direction where I need to change CSS’s?
Or is this a but in 1.0.5.

Link of the site is: blog.swydo.com
and the knowledge base is under http://blog.swydo.com/knowledgebase/

    Thanks,

On activation, this plugin copies the KBE page template and related CSS into your active theme. It is there that you should do any customisation as required. If you did customisation previously somewhere else (eg in the plugin) then it would have been overwritten when it updated.

It doesn’t look like the page template or the CSS was copied over. Just downloaded and installed for the first time today.

Hello, I’ve just updated the plugin to 1.0.6. and it went from 2-column layout to one column. What went wrong and how can I fix it?
Also, is it possible to make it 3-column layout?

    Website I’m working on: http://databaze.mikroinovace.eu/

    Thank you for your support!

Hi Guys, thanks for alerting me. This was my error… wrong image filepath in 1.0.6. I’ve just released an update which will fix it.
