Layout incorrect in Internet Explorer

When I open my site in Internet Explorer, the content section is displayed below the left sidebar. In Firefox and Safari the content shows up correctly in between my left and right sidebars. I’ve also noticed that the text in IE seems slightly skewed to the left. I’m new to PHP, CSS, and WordPress, and any help is appreciated. Thanks
