• Love this plugin! Thank you. Happy to pay for a premium version!

Is there a way to force the layout into multiple columns so that when I have a lot of content the items wrap to the next column? I refer you to https://schoolofbookkeeping.com/webinars/ and notice that this is two widgets embedded on a page: one with Live and one with Recorded. Recorded are long and growing and I’d like to make it wrap on another column. I will do this with two widgets and show one to first 50 and then the next to 50+ but it would be awesome to automate this.

    Hello Eric,

Thank you for the nice words!

No, at the moment there are no layout options for the widget, I was thinking about a premium version with multiple templates but the plugin didn’t get that much interest yet so this is not going to be implemented at the moment.

I’ll think of implementing something like that once I get more related requests.

    Regards,

Wonderful. I use X Theme and they have these options with their recent posts widget. Sadly, it doesn’t compare to yours. I sure do like the way they do the layouts.

    Have a look here http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/recent-posts/.

Notice how they do vertical and horizontal orientation. I’m sure the folks at X would be very interested in making your widget part of their included add-ons. You’ve built something really amazing. I didn’t realize it at first but it’s a powerful tool.

    Thanks again!

    I know, I’ve used the X Theme :),

The problem with a Plugin based styles is that you have to take into account thousands of possible themes and CSS conflicts that might occur; that’s why the layout options will most likely only be a part of a paid plugin 🙂 For the moment it is limited visually.

Thanks for the words! I’d appreciate a review in that case 🙂

I’ll keep you posted if something changes.

I’ll review for sure. I have one more question…

Why can’t I see the widget on all my posts? Look at this one for example. It won’t appear on older posts for some reason. New ones yes, but not old. Any idea?

I can’t access this post, it’s for members only. Perhaps that’s the issue?

Ah, right. No, it’s not the issue. I can login and view the first 10 and then the older ones don’t show the sidebar. It’s very peculiar.

Hmm I won’t be able to help without seeing that then, but it may be somehow related to the private post if it’s the case here only.

Are there any public posts where this occurs?
