I saw the latest update and also that somebody give you only 1 star.
I am disappointed that in not any way you have used the functions of Straphero. Straphero is a very clear theme. You said you had no time enough to work it out further in Straphero. I think this is a great mistake. After that you had timne enough to make new themes which are not appreciated by me. Ridizain would become much stronger whhen you should use the functions of Straphero, maintaining the 3 colunns.

    I'm sorry but you've lost me :-$

StrapHero is a totally different theme built on Bootstrap 2.

Ridizain on the other hand is a derivative of the Twenty Fourteen - my purpose here was not to totally change the theme but redesign it slightly and add extra functionality.

I'm not sure what the issue is and with which theme - Ridizain or StrapHero?

    The problem is Ridizain.
So also in this case I have to make me not any illusion.
The font in the sidebar is much too small for me.
In the widget bar a lightgrey color of the font is terrible for me.
I like a standard black font color.
I like a title in BOLD as in Straphero
and not as now in Ridizain.
Zulf you have the tools to make wunderfull templates
but unfortunately you make other choices as me.

OK now I see what you mean.

Bu t like I said, the purpose with Ridizain was not to change much of the structure but present a redesigned Twenty Fourteen while still maintaining most of its features.

As a matter of fact you can recreate a near replica of Ridizain using the default theme, Fourteen extended plugin, Fourteen colors and a few css adjustments via a Custom CSS plugin - in a nutshell, you can have the look and feel you desire without too much work. You just need to know which bits to combine together :)

Looking back at your comment - you can make titles bold, change the color and/or even use different fonts via simple plugins from the repository. Those kind of changes are per individual taste and I don't think its a good idea to dress everyone's websites with the same fixed set up.

Ridizain is very extensible with minimal coding - just try it and you'll see what I mean :)

    Regards,
    Zulf

The problem is that you do not offer options but you are saying:
IT IS YOUR PROBLEM as customer.
So you use PLUGINS to solve your problems.

No Zulf. I found another theme: Akasse. I asked four questions and next week they wil come with an update and will try to succeed for what I asked.

The problem is that you do not offer options

Ridizain already has a number of options to change some of the main elements colors. If I was to offer option for every single element involved in the theme the code would become bloated and that's never a good thing for all involved.

IT IS YOUR PROBLEM as customer.

I'm not saying that at all - I said certain things are personal preference and those varies from person to person.

So you use PLUGINS to solve your problems

That is exactly what plugins are there for - to solve problems, enhance WordPress, themes and end user experience on per individual preferences.

If another theme fits your needs then by all means, please use it - that is why this repository exists. Its not possible to have one theme fit all - again that is why there are many themes and plugins available :)

    Hello Zulf,

Thanks a lot for answering me so quickly.
It feels good that you got so much feedback,
so enough users appreciate the theme.

I think we fundamentally are thinking different about what should be included and what things should not be included in the theme.
    f.e. Page Numbering.

I am glad that I found a new way with another developer who understands that I am not a specialist and that ! want that the most common elements are included in the theme. I am also glad that more and more developers are offering Page Numbering as a standard.

We can stop this discussion now.

    No problem at all.

We can always agree to disagree on certain things :)

We can stop this discussion now.

Sure thing - and good luck.
