    Latex2html is working great for me except for the \cite command. It tells me that the six items have been added to the database, but no matter what I try (including renaming the file to bibtex.bib as it internally instructs) I cannot get it to convert \cite to a reference. There are no warning messages at any time. Please advise where to put the bibtex.bib file and if that is the correct name. Thanks in advance!

    I debugged this issue by realizing that all of the \cite entries in my article included standard LaTex brackets containing the relevant page number. Then the plugin works well. Apparently including brackets in \cite breaks it. Thus I have not yet figured out how to include page numbers in my citations. Any how-to information posted here would be deeply appreciated.

    In fact, LaTeX2HTML support insert page number in citation. See the manual:

    https://lttt.vanabel.cn/2016/12/03/the-users-manual-of-latex2html-2-0-0.html#sec:9.2

    An example:
    \cite{EinsteinInfeldHoffmann1938Gravitational}*{p.1}
    will produce
    [1,p.1]
    The format for cite is adopted by amsrefs.
