# [latest_series] shortcode

 * I’m using the [latest_series] shortcode at the top of my sermon page and I’d 
   like to show a longer (one paragraph) description of the series. Since my theme
   uses the sermon series description elsewhere (where it’s short) I’m wondering
   if the shortcode can be modified to display alternate info, such as the sermon
   archive intro text – which can be easily modified from the sermon series edit
   page.

 * That’s doable with some customization. We probably wouldn’t be looking at adding
   that into the core functionality at this point but the shortcode can be overridden
   to include a parameter for what you are looking to do.
