latest wordpress update 4.7.4 is breaking affiliate links

    Hi there,

    I’m running several affiliate sites. After 4.7.4 update, i noticed my commissions from my affiliate sites went to 0. I started checking what can cause it and just recently saw several people had the same issue. Then i read that new WordPress version is adding two new tags to any links that I have on the page with the target=”_blank” attribute set. These tags kill affiliate links by not sending the referrer in the HTTP headers.

    Can anyone help with this?
