@jkilgore55 – Have you tried changing your From: to a valid email address as Aaron Cohrs suggested some time ago?
CURRENT:
FROM: [your-name]
CHANGE TO:
FROM: myemail@mydomain.com
“A simple and generally reliable way to ensure email deliverability is to use an email address that belongs to the same domain as your WordPress site in the From field in the Mail & Mail(2) sections of the CF7 interface.”
This and a host of other potential problems and solutions are covered at http://kb.cf7skins.com/contact-form-7-email-issues/.
Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.
Yes I have tried that… no difference
I will review the things on that list… thanks
@jkilgore55 – I have been having the same problem for days but have managed to solve it on my site by installing the “WP Mail SMTP” plugin.
With it, I used the unrestricted Gmail SMTP server with the following settings:
– Send all WordPress emails via SMTP.
SMTP Host: aspmx.l.google.com
SMTP Port: 25
– No encryption.
– No: Do not use SMTP authentication.
(No need for username or password).
I hope this works for you, I know how frustrating this can be!
