Latest version data migration doesn’t work, here is the solution

    Thanks for using our plugin, we have release major version 2.2.0 yesterday(2020-03-13)
    we have optimized data saving and loading by marge all accordion options into one meta field, wherein previous version each option saves different meta fields, hope this will help to optimize loading time, and also optimize scripts and style file loading.

    After installing the plugin you will see the notice at the top to migrate data, “click to start” button to start the migration, please see the screenshot

    In-case data migration is not working please use following shortcode,
    create a page and use following shortcode and load the page, it will shart working

    migrate accordion setting, it will automatically run migration for accordion settings and migration for accordion post type data
    [accordions_cron_upgrade_settings]

    migrate accordion data, this will automatically run when you run the shortcode accordions_cron_upgrade_settings

    [accordions_cron_upgrade_accordions]

    reset migration, if you see the migration isn’t working, you can reset newly migration data.
    [accordions_cron_reset_migrate]

    I am very confused. Am I supposed to download another version to update to or will that happen automatically when I “click to Start” data migration.

    I cannot understand the voice on the video and am also having trouble with the information under “In-case data migration is not working please use following shortcode,”
    I do not understand where and how to use the shortcode.

    I put a lot of effort into creating my accordions for this page, https://unitedalloysrd.2ndlookgraphics.com/products/ only to find the “content missing” message.
    I would really appreciate an easy to understand, step-by-step set of instructions for doing the migration.

    It will automatically complete the data migration after click “click to Start” button.

    Please let me know if automatic data migration works or not.

    Mine is stuck at pending. I followed the shortcode instructions but it didn’t improve.

    Please create a page and use following shortcode and visit the page, refresh several times until data migration complete.

    [accordions_cron_upgrade_accordions]

    you will not see anything on page content, data migration will automatically complete on background.

    Is data migration still required when updating from 2.1.17 to 2.2.16? I didn’t get the pop-up, but can create the page for the shortcode if it’s still required.

    We have added handling to display old data if data migration not completed, don’t worry.
    When you edit accordion it will load from old data if no new data found, so basically don’t need the data update migration process.
